Here at amid studio, we believe good design can effectively communicate the brand and offer. Primarily based in Melbourne, we do work Australia-wide with experience in Victoria, South Australia and Queensland. We pride ourselves on providing thorough service, giving expert advice on materiality and sourcing only the best suppliers while working within budget requirements. We always aim to design with innovation in mind, not following trends but understanding spatial layout requirements and balancing form/function. Authenticity is the main design focus, incorporating finishes & details which are appropriate, proportional and beautiful at the same time.
Our head creative Amber Ma has over 15 years of experience in the industry. Graduating as Valedictorian winning several awards, she has always been passionate about design and it reflects in her work. She has worked previously at a studio based in Brighton VIC specialising in Residential / Multi-Res and Commercial / Education projects also. Then moving on to her true passion, Retail & Hospitality at an Architecture practice in Richmond VIC, becoming an Associate in a few years. Amber then worked as a Retail Design Manager and gained an immense amount of design experience. She can now guide clients through the approval process required by most major shopping centres.
